Tip for Other Campers:
Starved Rock State park with lots of trails - lots of stairs to the different falls. No to little water flowing due to time of year and very humid. Restaurants choices are limited in Peru or LaSalle.

Tips from campers about Pleasant Creek Campground
- Charleen&Dennis Good, affordable restaurants in immediate area. Tampa premium outlets w lots of restaurants only 30 minutes. Also nice shopping area at Wiregrass shops. Rode to Tarpon Springs for a day trip, highly recommend and also Howard Park for a nice beach area2 years ago Landing Resort

“Under Construction”
Nightly Rate: $50 USD
The park is doing construction during the camping season. I don't know who thought that was a good idea. Wi-Fi did not work and when we found a spot where we could get a signal, it was too expensive....
