Sullivan is a smaller town but had several restaurants (mostly fast food) and a nice grocery store. Terre Haute is 35 minutes north. Shagamak State Park is a very nice park with a public swimming pool and several hiking paths....

The bathrooms were not open, probably because of the time of year. Staff was helpful. Only stayed overnight. We camped at Sullivan County Park & Lake in a Motorhome.
