Bring bug repellent, hiking shoes and a willingness to explore. Dundee, a town 5 miles to the south, has a great example of small town Iowa food (if it ain't fried it isn't food). To the north, also around 5 miles is the town of Strawberry Point and I do believe that they have a pretty nice Ice Cream shop!...
