We visited the Hays Fort and saw the Buffalo. Nice paved interpretive trail, very well done.

Gravel pull through with plenty of room for large rigs. Site was level and park was well maintained. WiFi was spotty. We camped at Creek Side Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips from campers about Creek Side Resort
- JohnLoc843 Camping in Michigan for out of state campers is worth it, ONLY if you plan to camp at least a couple of weeks. That makes it worth buying two annual passes, one for the RV and one for the tow vehicle ($78), in addition to your camping fees of $45/night for electricity only. If you only plan to camp in Michigan less than a week, it's not worth it IMO, but if you can ignore the big fees and hassle, you'll enjoy the parks, most state parks having only electric with a dumpsite and water fill station2 years ago Grand Haven State Park
