Tip for Other Campers:
Make sure you take advantage of the distilleries in the area. I very much enjoyed the Makers Mark distillery. They are very much a highlight of this region of the country. A long drive can take you to Mammoth caves, and those are worth a drive for the unique experience.

Several bourbon distilleries in their area. The Kentucky cooperage is a neat tour to do.
