Tip for Other Campers:
Drive the hour to New Roads and eat at Morels Restaurant. Its 100% worth it!There is a little Louisiana shop down the road and it is wonderful! So many local vendors. It looks small, but the shop is over 3000sqft.
Tips from campers about Camp Margaritaville RV Resort Breaux Bridge
- Richard Taube Pensacola Naval Air Museum is nearby (20-30 minutes drive) and very much worth the visit. Take the free 1 hr. 45 minute tour as it so informative that I would have liked it to last longer (you would be lucky to get Tyrone Lewis as your guide). I spent a total of 5 hours there, but I may be a bit more of an enthusiast. I wasn't sure what to expect about the limited parking, but I got there 20 minutes before they opened at 9 am and there was only one other car in the lot. It was about 90% full when I left. It was a Friday in March and the Blue Angels were not in town so perhaps a bit offseason.2 weeks ago Buena Vista Motor Coach Resort
- AJShelton Amberjack EBike Rentals are great! Highly recommend. Also best seafood in our opinion is Bubbas, just down the street. Pensacola is 40-45 minutes away with lots to see and do too.
