“Nice and quiet.”

Beautiful park and very quiet in the off season. We camped at Gator Grounds RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We actually cooked while we were there so all meals were eaten at our campsite.
Tips from campers about Gator Grounds RV Resort
- KK And Pa Take Bowerman road off Hwy 517 to get to park. Don't come in on 146 like maps suggests.1 year ago Galveston Bay RV Resort & Marina
- Steve & Linda Houston Well the roads leading to the RV park was missing street sign off fm517 (Bowermen). The road construction was terrible every where in and around the general area. But close to Galveston Isand and Houston. Approx 30 min. Amazing Beaches, enjoyed some Mardi Gra festive parade and the Rodeo in Houston
- Roamalee Youre very close to Texas City, which is an OK area but with plenty of stores and restaurants and that sort of thing lots of chain restaurants. If you go further north, you have a better variety and more sort of upscale look I think.1 year ago Galveston Bay RV Resort & Marina
