Sites in the 40s were nice and shaded, but no sewage. Lots of bugs and caterpillars. We camped at Poverty Point Reservoir State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Nice biking, fishing, and a Historic Poverty Point site to explore. A local market is nearby once you get off the HWY.

Tip for Other Campers:
Someone here recommended E.W. Thomson Drug store for breakfast or lunch. We checked it out and its a step back in time. Inexpensive and decent food in a good atmosphere.
