“Very quiet”

Nice campground with a fishing pond and playground. We camped at Alligator Lake Recreation Area RV Park in a Motorhome.

Over all great. It's crazy muddy after the rains tho. We camped at Alligator Lake Recreation Area RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips from campers about Alligator Lake Recreation Area RV Park
- Hiwaysbyways If you're going to visit Gatlinburg, or Pigeon Forge, stay closer to town because this place is a very long way out of town.
- wadebbi Go into Newport to get groceries, urgent care, drug store, or a regular priced meal.
- Chaps_out_camping Both downtown Gatlinburg, and pigeon Forge are convenient. I would recommend a drive-through smoky Mountain national Park, and Cades Cove. If youre looking for some places to hike, there are plenty along these two routes!

This campground has a fantastic view of the lake heavily laden with trees. Not a large campground but cozy. We camped at Alligator Lake Recreation Area RV Park in a Motorhome.

Not very close to the town of Leesville but we are camping and we make our own food and enjoy the beauty....
