“Hiking, fishing & bike riding”

We LOVE this park. The grounds are clean, the park is nice for the kids, and the trails are easy enough for the kids and beautiful. We camped at Sam Houston Jones State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Eat at Steam Boat Bills for seafood. Get your boudin/ cracklin fix at In-laws.
Tips from campers about Sam Houston Jones State Park
- lgehring Traffic on I-10 is horrific, and most directions send you to I-10 for a mile to get on another highway. Look at alternate routes.
- Harry_393 Plenty of restaurants, shopping and activities within a reasonable drive.

There were lots of ants and bugs but other than that it was very nice! We camped at Sam Houston Jones State Park in a Fifth Wheel.
