Tip for Other Campers:
Highway 90 from Lafayette is AWFUL! One of the bumpiest roads weve ever taken. If another route is an option, take it!Spend a half day up the road on Tabasco tour and gardens and have lunch thereit was great!
Tips from campers about KOC Kampground
- Mark_6741f71a15252 Take the hike to see the dinosaur tracks5 months ago Clayton Lake State Park
- Beesonut Walk over the dam to see the impressive dinosaur tracks. It's only a 20 minute walk from the campground. To see the prints more clearly, it's best to go either early in the morning or late afternoon when the shadows from the sun make them easier to see.7 months ago Clayton Lake State Park

Tip for Other Campers:
190 from New Orleans is the absolute worst. If you can plan, your trip over through Baton Rouge and then south on 190. Longer but much better newly resurfaced interstate much of the way.
