“Well kept & secure”
Nightly Rate: $125 USD
Run by an older couple, campground is clearly cared for with gated access. We camped at Bucksport / Fort Knox KOA Holiday in a Fifth Wheel.

There are quite a few RV parks on the way to Barharbor if that's your destination get something closer, it's about an hour to the coast at Barharbor from Bucksport.

Tip for Other Campers:
Visit Bar Harbor but eat locally at Carriers with melt in your mouth lobster. Do not eat at Kimberly's Marina. Their food was overpriced and the lobster was like rubber.

Ate at Carriers Mainely Lobster. It was excellent. Had a Lobster roll and crab roll. Both were good.

Close to attractions, Restaurants- Union River, Carriers is okay for seafood but not worth the money.
