“Nice and quiet ”

Small dog run, full hook ups at the end of the pull through. Nice quiet camp ground. We camped at Augusta / Gardiner KOA Journey in a Motorhome.

- Bill_B76 Ticonderoga is about 7 miles away. There you can find restaurants, a Walmart and Subway.3 years ago Rogers Rock Campground

“Good stop for an overnight stay ”

We stayed for three nights as we wanted to do some sightseeing in the area. The roads in the park are all on a fairly steep incline which made it a bit difficult for us older folks to walk the dog....

Tip for Other Campers:
We drove to Pemaquid Point lighthouse which was a little over an hour away (recommend by the staff at the campground). That was very nice. Nice grounds and beautiful coastline. Also went to Hallowell Maine and had lunch at The Quarry Taproom which was right on the Kennebec River. We did a lot of driving around as there is much beautiful scenery in ME....

We went to Round Pond Lobster Co-OP our first night, Pemaquid lighthouse and ate at Sprague's Lobster in Wiscasset...

“Steep roads”
Nightly Rate: $56 USD
This KOA is on a fairly steep slope. The roads run up the slope, with the campsites running across. The roads are steep and mostly gravel, so you might want to engage 4 wheel drive to get in and out....
