This area of Manitoba is just amazing. The campground allows you to really experience that beauty. After being in quite a few campgrounds I would call these sites some of my favourite for the beauty...

Tip for Other Campers:

We rented a pontoon boat with some friends from the lodge across the highway and it was a great afternoon. Plenty of spots for fishing. The closest spot for groceries is Flin Flon about 15 minutes away. There's a new grocery store that was very nice and clean and well stocked as well as a museum.

Tips from campers about Bakers Narrows Provincial Park

Born2Roam Explore Lake Nasworthy and the downtown Riverwalk. Artwork abounds everywhere and vibrantly painted sheep statuary serve as emmisaries for the prominent wool industry that once dominated in the area. Old Town San Angelo has a number of great eating, drinking and historical sightseeing spots - Eggemeyer's General Store and Miss Hattie's Bordello Museum among the notable. The Visitors Center and grounds on the river is beautiful and a must stop. Wherever we went he locals were very hospitable.

sgtglenn San Angelo State Park is a 15 minute drive and Angelo State University is 10 minutes.

Ed Maina Enjoy the park. Wild deer and Turkey's are walking around and used to people.
