Tip for Other Campers:
Paw Paw tunnel on the C&O rail trail is about 30 minutes away and worth the drive.
Park is serious about 3pm check in. There is a gate and they won't give you your code before check in.
“Beautiful campground beside the lake ”
Nightly Rate: $23 USD
Beautiful campground along lake Habeeb. We stayed in the Elm Loop. Site 124 was a pull through with no hook ups. Close proximity to the bathhouse and right along the 5.2 mile Lakeside Loop Trail. We...

Tip for Other Campers:
Campground is near other parks with beautiful waterfalls and hiking trails. Wasnt expecting any cell signal in the mountains but got four bars of T-Mobile.

We stayed at this park in a 27' Travel Trailer. The site (Ash 18) was more than long enough for our truck & trailer, unlevel side to side, with a bit of a slope, but lots of room to jockey around. The...

Tip for Other Campers:
The park has many things to do such as canoe/kayak rentals, swimming, hiking, golf course, and a casino with restaurants and gambling. It is located near Cumberland, MD which is an interesting town to visit with lots of history, good restaurants, the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad, and the start of the Great Allegheny Biking and Hiking trail. You are also...
