Plenty of hiking trails nearby. We have brought our kayaks in the past and kayaked the reservoir. We went and did the savage river off-road trail, which is about 20 minutes away. Great Jeep ride. Tips from campers about Savage River State Forest

crazdmnd Plenty of hiking trails nearby. We have brought our kayaks in the past and kayaked the reservoir. We went and did the savage river off-road trail, which is about 20 minutes away. Great Jeep ride. This area is gorgeous and there aremany outdoor activities. We take the dogs to the dog park outside of deep Creek. Also youre not far from Grantsville where there are stores and restaurants. The new Germany store has a few supplies and is not far either but remember you go here to get away.
