Tip for Other Campers:
The campsite address will take you to the campground's maintenance area, which is on your right as you drive down South on Route 272. Continue uphill for another mile until you see the campground sign; turn LEFT, then follow the signs.
A visit to the Turkey Point Lighthouse is well worth it. Once you park, you'll walk a quarter mile on gravel.

Tips from campers about Elk Neck State Park
- Jacqueline_85 Pinnacles National Park is stunning. Take your head lamps and do the Balconies Cave loop. Very cool and just stunning. We were there for the spring wild flowers. Near by Historic Mission de Soledad is part of the Camino de Real. There is a chapel, museum and they do a wonderful monthly Tuesday luncheon.3 days ago Yanks RV Resort

Tip for Other Campers:
We visited Elkton, MD and had some great beer at Elk River Brewing. We visited Turkey Point Lighthouse with great views of the Bay; the line was long to climb the lighthouse so didn't wait to do that. North East, MD has a grocery store not too far from the campground.
