“Quiet, spacious sites, tough to navigate ”
Nightly Rate: $80 USD
They have a couple big rig sites up front, the rest of the park is pretty tight, hilly and technical to get into. Once you are in, you will be rewarded with big sites, separation from neighbors....

“Husband Chose Well”
Nightly Rate: $50 USD
The campground is away from the major highway, so it is quiet. It does not feel like you are on the busy Cape, except for the malformed pines and all the sand. The sites are spacious and not too close...

Tip for Other Campers:
The Cape Cod Rail Trail is really fun. We rented e-assist bikes and were able to peddle to the Coast Guard Beach and back without any issues (besides a sore bum.)...
Tips from campers about Sweetwater Forest Family Camping Resort
- RVL499040 Rail trail for biking. Chatham for shops and restaurants.
- CGaboury Make sure you bring your bikes and ride down to the rail trail and the Cape Cod Baseball league. If you're exploring the cape, get yourself to Main Street in Hyannis and get some Smith Family Popcorn. It's so good!

“Very wooded”
Nightly Rate: $80 USD
Very rustic, wooded campground. Lots of trees and pretty tight dirt roads made it a little tough to navigate (38' motorhome). We were in site A37 which was a pull-through, but more of a horseshoe...

Tip for Other Campers:
Recommend Hyannis Whale Watching. Provincetown is a fun night spot at the tip of the cape (about an hour). Try the Sandwich Glass Museum for something a little different....
“Well wooded campground. ”
Nightly Rate: $63 USD
Check in was easy, staff was friendly. The CG is fairly large, wooded and hilly. Roads to site was a little narrow but passable. Site T9 was easy back in but a little tight with a tree on one side and...

Tip for Other Campers:
Sweetwater is located close to the CCRT but I would drive to a parking area along the trail because of traffic on Rt124 may be busy. Eastham (National Seashore) and Orleans (shopping and restaurants) are a short drive. Check out Mahoney's in Orleans and L'Oven Pizza in Brewster. Bay beaches are with in 5 - 10 min. Drive. Check out Paine's Creek if you bring...
