If you're going to Salem, take the train. It's 30 min from Newburyport or drive to Beverly and take a 4 min train.
“Convenient Access to the Train”
Nightly Rate: $75 USD
A nice park with a fair number of seasonals. Spaces are tight and parking is even tighter. Clean facilities and outstanding staff. We camped at Beach Rose RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

The train station is a couple miles away and is a safe place to park.

“Good shoulder season campspot”

The park is clean, located a mile from Salisbury beach, an easy walk to. The sites are small, in the summer season it can get tight. We are from the area and stay at this campground when we get back...

Tip for Other Campers:
Salisbury beach is just down the road. Blue Ocean has concerts year round. Visit Newburyport. The Clipper Trail, walk and bike in Newburyport, artwork, sculptures and interesting stuff along the walk. There is another walk bike trail that starts about a half mile from the campground. Tuna Striker is a good restaurant, Capri Italian is also good.

The sites are close as can be seen in pictures and the staff is friendly. Recommend sites on the outer perimeter as those in the middle are also close back to back.Short drive to local beach....
