We found a great little restaurant, Schultzy's Place, that had great food and wasn't too far.
Pleasantly surprised by this campground, stayed here not long ago, seems like they do regular upkeep and it's a great place to get away. Really wonderful spot to bring the kids, great amenities staff...

Tip for Other Campers:
The seasonal campers are helpful and there's not really a 'clique' going around like there is at a lot of other campgrounds, the water access is great!
Tips from campers about Kings Family Campground
- Robert_66db2ea0832c4 Need to go 15 miles north to Lexington for popular restaurants and Walmart and other stores
- Bustednukkle We came from rte40. Roads to get there were windy and tight and low tree limbs, have to take your time and pay attention.
- Kim G C We visited the caverns one afternoon and it was interesting and educational. The boys enjoyed riding the golf cart around the campground and bouncing. The internet was very weak and slow and unavailable multiple times.
