Nice park. Decent sized lots. Grass well manicured. Very clean. Friendly camp hosts. We camped at Waterways Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tip for Other Campers:
19 miles from Mackinaw Island Ferry. Libbys down town bakery is great. Used Trails End Kennels for the pups while we went across to the island.
Tips from campers about Waterways Campground
- JoyBoy4Jesus Dogs were not allowed at the picnic area but had a small beach area where they were allowed off leash if needed. We did take our dog to the Whitefish Trail near Mountain Lion Trailhead which was a fabulous place to take your dog off leash.11 months ago Whitefish Lake State Park

Tip for Other Campers:
The M33 Restaurant right across the street has GREAT food, but it's a bit pricy. Be careful when coming to the park, the sign is small and easy to miss.

Tip for Other Campers:
We went to Mackinac island and drove up to pitcher drop State park in the UP. Very beautiful area and if you have time I highly suggest it. Walking/biking trail behind the campground that goes along the river.

Very nice smaller quite RV park that is well maintained. RV park has a boat ramp and dock for those that RV and boat! We camped at Waterways Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Very close to Cheboygan and only 15 minutes from Mackinaw City. Great location!
