“Awesome location & awesome people”

We originally booked Log Cabin for 2 weeks but extended to a third. The owner, Marg, is amazing! You have to meet her. We shared some good laughs. The rest of the campers and workers were wonderful....

- Trent Brugh If you go into town, you have to check out The Shipwreck. Great place where all the locals hang out. The icecream place down the street was also great! The Store (thats what its called) had some grociers, and the Dollar General had some as well (although very over-pricednot very dollar friendly). We also went over see Big Spring one afternoon and Manistique, which is where we found a Tractor Supply and full grocery store. We were in site 59 which has greenery that helps with privacy somewhat. There are facilities for laundry and a shower house but we didnt go in either. The dock and boat slips appeared very rickety....

Manistique about 30-45 minutes away with decent grocery store and restaurant (we had a good lunch at Boardwalk Bar and Grill). Seul Choix Pointe lighthouse about 30 from campground.

Tip for Other Campers:
This campground does not allow outside firewood. They are worried about invasive bug/diseases. The wood they sell is a reasonably priced, decent size pieces, and it is.kiln dried hardwood
It burnt very well.
