Tip for Other Campers:
Grand Marais is a quiet little town, much less busy than Munising on the west end of the National Lakeshore. But of course there are fewer services, so it's a trade off.

Tip for Other Campers:
They have 3 walkways down to Lake Superior, or you can take the Boardwalk located in the city.
Lake Superior Brewing Co locate in Grand Marais is great place to eat [ the Fish Tacos are fantastic!] and have one of their beers brewed right there! Good full-service menu also. Go to west entrance to check in otherwise you have to drive thru the campground.
