“Great proximity to St Ignace ”
Nightly Rate: $35 USD
Given the choices in this area, Tiki is a great option - especially if you plan on going to Mackinac Island. It's a little tight moving in and out, many of the sites aren't level, and trash bins are...

“Tight spots”

When we arrived, we were lucky to get the last spot (#17). The campground was very full due to a truck convention in town. The campground has lots of trees, it has dirt roads, but thats what camping...

Tip for Other Campers:
Make sure you go to Main Street, a lot of cute shops and good food. We went to Mackinaw Island taking Shepplers Ferry which is just down the street. ($30/person to and from) no cars allowed on the island or e-bikes. You have to rent the bikes which is very costly but worth it. Dogs can only ride in crates. The advertisement for Mackinaw Island states they...

- Kcirce We only had a few days, so one day was spent exploring all of St. Ignace, including walking the Huron boardwalk, going to the Wawatam lighthouse, visit the Ojibwe Museum - it's small but nice. By donation. Also go visit Castle Rock just south of town. Note that there are 169 stairs to the top but the views are outstanding! Our second day was taking our bikes over to Mackinac Island for the day. The biking along the paved waterside path was beautiful. At our lunch stop, we decided to take the inner island path, which is much hillier, but there are some neat sites along the way. Fort Mackinac is worth a visit. Our last day was a short bike visit to Straits SP, but we were hoping to find the Father Marquette National Historic Monument but it was closed. There is an ACE Hardware, Dollar General/Family Dollar, small Family Fare grocery, and a couple gas stations north of town.10 months ago Tiki RV Park & Campground
- Ouraddy Make sure you go to Main Street, a lot of cute shops and good food. We went to Mackinaw Island taking Shepplers Ferry which is just down the street. ($30/person to and from) no cars allowed on the island or e-bikes. You have to rent the bikes which is very costly but worth it. Dogs can only ride in crates. The advertisement for Mackinaw Island states they are pet friendly, went to 4 different places to eat with outside patios and still wouldnt allow our small dog, you can bring your pet, but you are limited. My husband and I couldnt go through the Grand Hotel b/c no pets allowed, so I had to tour it myself. Just to walk inside the hotel its $12/person and yet there are pictures of dogs hanging everywhere inside the hotel. The Island is definitely a must see, if you are sensitive to smells be prepared for the smell of the horses wastes, some areas stronger than other areas.6 months ago Tiki RV Park & Campground
- Grasshopperstacy Around mid September there is a Semi Truck show which is fun. The boardwalk by the water is lovely. Wild Blueberry serves delicious breakfasts.6 months ago Tiki RV Park & Campground

The Tiki RV park and campground was a pretty nice campground that was conveniently located for boarding the Sheplers ferry to Mackinac Island and viewing the Tahquamenon Falls (lower and upper) about...

Tip for Other Campers:
Definitely catch a ferry boat to Mackinac Island, grab some fudge and take a day trip to Tahquamenon Falls State Park to see the falls. We liked the lower falls the best. But the upper fall was impressive

Tip for Other Campers:
So much to see and do in St. Ignace. We did Mackinac Island of course. We also drove to Paradise to the Shipwreck Museum. Learned at lot about the Edmund Fitzgerald. The Carmel Corn was a wonderful experience, I had never had fresh made Carmel Corn before.
