“Great location on Lake Superior”
Nightly Rate: $23 USD
Good value for the location, although be aware that you also need a state parks pass, which is in addition to the advertised site cost. No hookups of any kind here. There is no water fill for RVs,...

Tip for Other Campers:
The drive in from Wakefield is 16 miles of the roughest paved road that I've traveled in a while. Mostly 35 mph or less if you want to avoid damaging your rig.
“Beautiful Park”
Nightly Rate: $75 USD
Awesome Park. Would stay here again. Quiet, but conveniently close to hiking trails. We camped at Porcupine Mountain Wilderness State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

- RVL421166 Bring screen tent if you have one. Flies were really bad a couple of the days. Mosquitoes not as bad because it was windy most of the time. Great sunsets over Lake Superior.
- 1998 Ultrasport It's about 20 miles to the closest gas, restaurant and grocery store. Plan accordingly. Say HI to Scott and Paul at the ranger station when you go in. Both GREAT guys to talk to and VERY helpful. Tell them "Steve" said HI! Pick up some Keweenaw Brewing Widow Maker dark beer. Good stuff.

Presque Isle: I like rustic wilderness camping because it is normally unpopulated. That is not the case here. We stayed in the Non-Generator side surrounded by tent campers. Our 25ft trailer was...
