Quiet and cozy, clean areas and restrooms. No water at sites but has dump area. We camped at Bear Head Lake State Park in a Travel Trailer.

- Bkandsk There is a very nice lake very close and a fish hatchery as well. Farr enough to be remote but close enough to go to town to get whatever you need.4 years ago Outpost Campground & RV Park

Tip for Other Campers:
Services are 15 miles away so bring adequate supplies. Mosquito repellant a must. Ice and firewood available at the ranger station. No fishing bait available.

Tip for Other Campers:
There is NOTHING in the surrounding area. If you need gas, you can travel down to the town of Tower but if you need groceries or anything else, it requires an hour trip to Virginia. We stayed here to visit Voyagers National Park but you cannot do much there until mid June.
