Tips from campers about Independence, MN
- Neil and Sue Lots of hiking and trails in the area.3 years ago Swan Lake Campground & RV Park
- 12345-Happycamper Close to all amenities in Vernon. Also close to Kalamalka lake, Okanagon lake, wood lake and duck lake. Wineries within 1/2 hour drive in Lake country, there's a distillery in town that offers tours. This is one of our favorites!7 years ago Swan Lake Campground & RV Park
- Rollin Ollens There are paddle boats, canoes, pfds (Life Jackets) available for guests at no charge. There is no "sand" beach but a dock to access the water. Vernon is a good sized town so all services including big box stores are available. There is no store at the park but they do sell ice. There are no restaurants within walking distance. This is a very nice park to stay at even though it is a work in progress. We would return.8 years ago Swan Lake Campground & RV Park
