“Nice and quiet ”

Primitive sites no water after labor day We camped at Wooden Frog State Campground in a Truck Camper.

Tips from campers about Wooden Frog State Campground
- RomanwithDogs Anne of Green Gables Heritage Site and PEI National Park Cavendish are within easy biking distance. Cavendish Beach has gorgeous sunsets. Travel throughout the island is easy by car. Very private sites in the woods. No hookups but water available. Quiet, peaceful. We camped at Wooden Frog State Campground in a Motorhome.

Tip for Other Campers:
"Gateway" (the gas station at the intersection of County 122 and State 53) is worth a stop. Ice cream, bakery, grocery store, gas and about anything else you need is sold there. 800' north of Gateway on 122 is a logging operation. They sell big bundles of campfire wood for $6. Look for the 4' tree slice with a happy face on your left. Best of the Voyager...

The Pine Ridge Gift Shop was a very nice gift shop. We brought our dogs so we didn't really do much but hang out at the campground...
