“Shady ”
Nightly Rate: $42 USD
We were there overnight. Our site had trees on both sides but had room for our slides. We didn't spend much time at the campground. The restrooms were clean but dated. The mosquitoes were plentiful....

Tip for Other Campers:
The Glockenspiel tower in New Ulm is fun to watch. We ate at the Kaiserhoff restaurant and had some German food.

Lola- An American Bistro for good breakfast or lunches; Schells brewery (2nd oldest brewery in US). Schells is an easy drive or 2 mile hike along Cottonwood River trail. Herman Monument; visit the Glockenspiel in town (check for times it plays); 7 mile circle bike loop (road bike trail).

Pretty nice park and surprisingly quiet considering its in town. Plenty of trails for hiking and a sand bottom swim pond open that open Thursday thru Sunday. Some sites will be almost impossible...
