We tried to stay here, but it was a small gravel and cement lot with some power boxes. All the siteswere filled by what looked like construction workers with older rigs. The owner was responsive on...

No frills. Not a good spot to dump tanks. Water Power and Sewage are here. If you like music history great central spot to check out the blues!! We camped at Willie's Last Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips from campers about Willie's Last Resort

  • AI Joe Do your homework - there is just so much to explore from here. Start at the BB King museum and then eat at The Crown Restaurant - but don't miss any of the other restaurants in town (we walked everywhere) - try them all!!!!!! Lots of other Delta towns nearby worth visiting - day trips are great if you are towing your rig - just leave it here at Willie's and return every night!
  • Buckeyefan4 There is a laundromat just down the street if needed. Walmart is a short drive away. Be sure to eat at the Blue Biscuit (you can walk there). Surprisingly good food from Morgan Freeman's former chef. They have live music on Saturday nights.

Well, this is more a place to park your RV and enjoy learning about "Delta blues music and food" than a recreational campsite. Just at the edge of town (Indianola) and next to the incredible BB King...

As others have said, this is almost the only place to stay overnight that you don't have to unhook if you want to visit the BB King Museum. We were the only ones there when we stayed and the weather...
