Laurel is a cool city, went downtown to check out the Hometown sites. A lot of shops downtown, several restaurants as well.

The park is only a couple miles from downtown Laurel, MS where you can find wonderful restaurants, meet the friendly residents, and if youre a fan of the Hometown show you can see the homes and businesses that you see on the show.

Laurel is fun to explore. The Lauren Rogers Museum and walking tour were great, and free!
Good food and shopping. HGTV Home Town has done wonders. Come see.

The reason I gave it a 3 is it is very noisy. Right between 2 highways. We camped at Sleepy Hollow RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Loved the Laurel home tour. Robert Hill was very knowledgeable and joyful.Paris Diner is a must!
