“Spacious sites with great views”

Beautiful view and the staff was very friendly and helpful! We camped at Buccaneer State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We wanted to stay as close to the beach as possible, and got a nice spot just a few yards from the small sandy beach. Water views were awesome, spaces were very clean/new, traffic/noise never bothered...

Tips from campers about Buccaneer State Park
- Graciehvl Boyne Mountain Skybridge was very cool, at the Boyne Mountain Ski Resort. Only an hour from Mackinaw City and Mackinac Island. Everything you need is in Gaylord.
- Twowrights Went to Call of the Wild and Big Buck Brewery. Suggest seeing both!
- Kerch Family Call of the Wild Museum; Gaylord Elk Park

Nice park - good WIFI - we camped at site #118. We even decided to add days onto our stay instead of going in to St Bernard state park. About an hr drive into New Orleans - but very doable !!...

Great park and looking forward to coming back in warmer weather! Watch route driving south from I10 down Nicholson low trees rubbed top of RV We camped at Buccaneer State Park in a Motorhome.
