Tips from campers about Treasure Lake RV Resort
- JeanneWil445 Lake Placid is close by, and is a great place to explore and experience a true piece of American sports history. The drive around the area is stunning, and there are many opportunites for hiking around Whiteface Mountain and the Ausable River. I would suggest that you save the time you might invest in going to Santa's Workshop. His elves have not been as busy as they should have been.
- Flikker We used this as a base camp and toured Lake Placid, Whiteface Mountain, Santa's Workshop and all the other places in the area. Go to Jay, NY, about 10 miles east, to see the covered bridge. Walk below to the rocks and water/rapids. Very relaxing. Lake Placid and the Olympic stuff. The North Pole and Santa, never too old to see that. Lots of hikes. A wonderful place in New York.

Tip for Other Campers:
In the back of Phase 2 is a trail that connects the Campground to the trails on the Henning Conservation Area. This was a great location to take our dog on an extended walk. She loved these trails. Lots of tourist activities in Branson. If you want to get a short day trip, go to Wilson's Creek National Battlefield (about an hour away). Very well done...

Question:
I see that they are first come, first serve. We would be traveling through in late April 2023. Anybody know how busy they typically are in April? We are pulling a 40' 5th wheel. Thank you in advance!...
