Tips from campers about Zan's Creekside campground
- Shelby Roo The Town of Salmon was friendly and had some great restaurants, however most close by 8-9pm and the grocery store is closed on Sunday.9 years ago Heald's Haven RV & Campground
- saturn7 quite far away from town, good for an overnite only.9 years ago Heald's Haven RV & Campground
- Grumpy Old Timer Great jeep roads all around. We did several including the Lewis and Clark drive in nearby mountains. Also visited and enjoyed the Sacajawea Center in Salmon, ID.9 years ago Heald's Haven RV & Campground

Take a ride to Grand Falls. Downtown Joplin is not what we thought it would behoped for more Route 66 fun spots.

The staff, Rick & John were both awesome.. Very helpful with any questions. We camped at Zan's Creekside campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tip for Other Campers:
Myself & wife went to the Precious Moments Chapel which was awe inspiring & completely free (donations are helpful though since that and sales at gift shop are all that keep them open). Civil war museum in Carthage was also pretty cool.
