Tip for Other Campers:
Be sure to see the the petroglyphs at one of the trailheads near the lake. Kirksville 5 miles away for supplies. Recommend Colton's Steakhouse for dinner. Montana burger is awesome.

Tip for Other Campers:
The trails that are not paved are dirt and do have some short steep areas. There is a very nice paved trail as well

Campground is wonderfully shaded with electric hookups, paved, and well spaced. Water is available and a dump station is provided We camped at Thousand Hills State Park in a Motorhome.
