Tip for Other Campers:
The city/county roads getting to and leaving Fronner Park were rough no matter which road we went down. We visited Stuhr Museum and grounds, the museum was very enjoyable but at rail town many of the buildings were closed so we didn't get to see everything.

- PurplePeople A couple decent brewpubs in town: Prairie Pride, which we preferred for the beer, and Kinkaider, which we preferred for the food. They are across a parking lot from each other, so try both if you're into craft beer. The easiest approach to the campground is east on US 34 (Husker Highway) then north on Stuhr Rd to Fonner Park Road. This avoid the urban tangle on Lincoln and some very uneven roadway to the west of the Fonner Park entrance.3 years ago State Fair Campgrounds at Fonner Park
