Fossil tour was good. Make sure to look for the 1/3 mile trail from the campground to the fossil site. Do not walk the road to the site! Hot and hilly. Ghost town mine was very interesting....

Tips from campers about Berlin-Ichthyosaur State Park
- Freech Fossil tour was good. Make sure to look for the 1/3 mile trail from the campground to the fossil site. Do not walk the road to the site! Hot and hilly. Ghost town mine was very interesting.9 months ago Berlin-Ichthyosaur State Park

On Saturdays and Sundays the park rangers provide tours twice a day. Our of the way, but really nice display of the fossils. We visited Berlin-Ichthyosaur State Park, no overnight stay.

Austin has a couple of RV parks. No frills....

Tip for Other Campers:
Buy all of your supplies (food, water, fuel, etc.) before you leave for the park. Gabbs, NV (nearest town) has very little amenities.Come to sit around and enjoy the scenery, sunrise and sunsets and nature. Very nice to unwind....
