Valley of Fire state park is close with amazing red rock geology to view and photograph. At the office is a gas station with four pumps it is 89 octane gas only no diesel. Stock up on groceries and essentials such as RV-safe toilet paper before you visit: the closest grocery stores are at least forty minutes away and might not have everything you're looking for (the closest Walmart is over an hour away in Henderson).
