Someone else mentioned there isn't a lot to do in Pahrump, which is true, but we drove out to hike the Red Rock Canyon, which was only about a 45 or so minute drive. Tip for Other Campers:
Other than the donut shot, there isn't a lot in Pahrump. If you are a hiker and outdoor type person, there is plenty of hiking within an hour or less. DeathValley will take you about 45 mins to the park, but it's massive and around 3 hours to drive to the north end (one way).
Tips from campers about Nevada Treasure RV Resort & Spa
- DaddyMan Coming from Nashville, Google maps and trip wizard took us through a long route on country roads. If you're not interested in that, stay on the interstate 65 until you get to Athens, AL and turn west.1 month ago Joe Wheeler State Park

Only problem I had was, all utilities were in the rear if the pad I did not have enough sewer hose to hook up to sewer. We camped at Nevada Treasure RV Resort & Spa in a Travel Trailer.

“Good place to stay”
Nightly Rate: $50 USD
We stayed in a luxury corner lot for 28 days. It was spacious and had a cabana, and BBQ grill. We were on a concrete pad. Pool/hot tub had some leaf troubles but nothing unusual. Nice laundry area....

Pahrump is 8 miles away and has all the amenities of a small town (45,000 people). It is 50 miles to Las Vegas to the south and Death Valley National Park to the north/west.
