Tips from campers about Shady Pines Sun RV Communities
- Some Call Me Tim I'd ask about staying in the large lot next door. The sites are pretty close together and someone fired up a loud generator and ran it the whole time he was there... until I left, anyway. In the empty lot, I could have been further away.1 year ago Petrified Forest Gift Shop
- Lisa Doyle There is no water or dump station. Get gas before you leave Holbrook (eastbound). It is 18 miles from Holbrook to the gift shop/south entrance (where there is no gas) and 28 miles from the south entrance to the north entrance. Close to Garden State Parkway, Atlantic City Expressway, Richard Stockton University. Great Italian restaurant, Dunkin, Wawa ( fuel), ShopRite all within 5 minutes.

There is a dog run and a small playground. The streets are paved. This park is close to many amenities like gas, food shopping, Target and Walmart.

Should you ever decide to stay at Shady Pines, there is a Shop-Rite grocery store, and quite a few choices for reasonable restaurants nearby in Absecon. Check out Sack-o Subs for good south Jersey subs, and Joe & Johns Pizzeria in Absecon. Atlantic City is only about 16 miles away. The closest beaches are found on the island of Brigantine.
