Lots of pine trees and beautiful rv park. Used to be a ski lodge and still has the chair lifts in place. Nice and quiet away from town on ski run road. Saw several elk wander through the campground...

Tip for Other Campers:
There was a late sunrise and early sunset because of the surrounding mountains. Since daytime shade was somewhat scarce, a portable canopy would be a great accessory for a prolonged stay in this CG. Come with propane bottles full as commercial refill involves a long commute to the outskirts of Ruidoso.
