“Large pull through sites!”

About an hour south is Carlsbad Caverns and an hour North is Roswell. Didnt care for the town of Carlsbad, but only saw the outskirts, maps route you around the town.Stock up on food and cook your own meals. The office does have a small dinner menu that they can prepare with a couple hours notice.

Clean campground with friendly staff. The KOA is fairly close to the Caverns and Guadalupe NP. We camped at Carlsbad KOA Holiday in a Fifth Wheel.

Tip for Other Campers:
Note that the campground is 20 miles north of Carlsbad. There are no restaurants or anything near this campground for a quick trip out; we just did all we needed in one trip down (dinner, gas, errands). Loved the Blue House for breakfast!

Carlsbad Caverns is a must see. The Living Desert Museum is also a good place to visit.
