We just needed a spot to stop for the night, we dumped, added water and hooked up to power. Gravel lot, no shade no trees, sloped ground. Nothing great about it, but nothing horrible. Would look at...

This place is just like a big giant parking lot no trees, no shade, no picnic tables nothing. It was fine just to park and stay for the night. There are lots of monthlies, but as a previous park owner...

Tips from campers about Homestead RV Park

  • SpaceMan87 So many State and National Parks, Monuments, Preserves within easy reach. Navajo, Ute Reservations with so much history and sites that are so beautiful and informative. Four Corners is about 20 minutes away, Mesa Verde National Park in Colorado is around a hour away. Santa Fe, Albuquerque are about 2.5 to 3 hours away. For trips that are a little further away we right after wife finishes shift we hit the road, get to the location before total dark (Around 8:30 p.m.) and spend the weekend enjoying the sites we came to see and leave late afternoon. Usually arriving back a camper before dark and wife is able to prep for week. Also lots of off-road trails for bikes, motorcycles, and Jeeps!!! The desert is beautiful in its own unique way and we have so many beautiful photo's of the wonders. We do recommend when possible to go to the Native Indian events/ceremonies, and what I'll call swap meets (some at large central locations like parking lots, malls etc. and plenty of roadside areas selling everything for traditional foods, craft, jewelry, blankets, on and on. Beautifull works of art and craftsmanship!!!
  • joycen We rode the train from Durango Co to Silverton. Great experience!

This is a small, ugly little park next to a major highway, similar to camping in a Walmart parking lot. No one was there to receive us even though we arrived at check in time. When a person did show...

Its just a dusty hot parking lot between some storage units in the poor side of town. Most of the residents are long term construction workers. Great price and value for them but not for a traveling...

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Sites are spacious and clean. All gravel so it was dusty when the wind picked up. We would stay again. We camped at Homestead RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
