- Paul and Jennifer Degnans in town is a good fast eating establishment in the village. It is open 8-6 with a 30 minute break at 1100. Showers cost 5 bucks over at Curry. Generators are only allowed on these sites from 0700-0900, 1200-1400 and 1700-1900. We have an all electric coach, so it gets cold at night in the coach.5 months ago Upper Pines Campground

We ate at the Red River Brewery and Distillery 1 evening. We also made several trips to Taos, which is 1 hour away. We took a ride up into the Mogote/Conejos area in Colorado. We took the Enchanted Trail all the way around to Eagles Nest, Angel Fire, Taos, Questa and back to Red River. This is a very beautiful area of New Mexico, with lots of activities. If...

Tip for Other Campers:
This is only a few miles from Red River. Also, although there is no Wi-Fi here, the cell service we got with Verizon was no worse than what we experienced, staying at an RV park on the edge of red river. In this area, sometimes youre just lucky to have any signal at all.
