This was our second stay at Blaze-in-Saddles, after staying two years ago. We continue to enjoy staying here! The park is all gravel, with level sites and easy access. We enjoyed a 50 Amp pull-through...

Tip for Other Campers:

Tucumcari is still a very enjoyable place to visit! We always walk downtown, enjoying the murals and old buildings, the Blue Swallow Motel, the Teepee Curios shop, and old cars and antiques. We enjoyed a delicious (and affordable!) dinner at Del's Restaurant, less than 10 minutes from the park - we will be back for sure. We did a little train-watching;...

Tips from campers about Blaze-in-Saddle RV Park

  • RoamerswithHerbie The Rio Vista Bakery is way over priced for mediocre bread and pastries ($22 for two old fashioned donuts, two drip coffees and a small loaf of white bread). Ben's & Friends, in Rio Vista, is pricey but good food ($15 for a very small salad). Ruby's Bakery in Lodi is amazing (and of course, overpriced - $19 for two drip coffees and two croissants)...seems to be a theme these days.
  • V-3 Point Restaurant is a minute walk. Downtown Rio Vista is a 12 minute walk.

Easily accessed from I40 east, used exit 333. Overnight stop, didnt use any facilities. Staff friendly and helpful. We camped at Blaze-in-Saddle RV Park in a Motorhome.
