Trains to NYC leave from the train station just outside the park. Amtrak will take you to Penn Station with only one stop but is more expensive than the North-Metro. Tips from campers about Croton Point Park Campground
- Blowfishqueen Reliance fly shop was great but the river was way too warm for trout. The generation schedule was also not good. We did drive beautiful country back and dirt roads to our hearts content. The Amish vegetable stand had good stuff!9 years ago Black Bear Cove
- Sheryl E The local IGA was impressive for it's size. There is a Publix a bit further away for major shopping. Driving up through the park was beautiful, especially along the river. Get a guide out of Reliance and go fishing!9 years ago Black Bear Cove

“Nice location”

Roadway in park ate to skinney and full of.potholes. 2 motorhome can not pass eachother. We camped at Croton Point Park Campground in a Motorhome.

“Peaceful gem of a park just an hour and a half from NYC”

Gated and a couple of miles from the train. Beautiful fall colors. The bathrooms were rustic, but pretty clean. Sleepy Hollow is right down the road. Be careful coming in and use an RV GPS....
