“Lovely campground ”
Nightly Rate: $50 USD
We stayed here three nights so we could explore the Outer Banks. The campground is off the main drag about 3 miles and is located on an inlet. Because it is off season there were only about 6 campers...

Visit historic Corolla and the entirety of OBX. Gorgeous beaches and quiet the further south you go.
Tips from campers about OBX Campground
- John5theagle Fishing or just get out on the water. Nearby state parks have a nice beach on a bay. Eat at Bob's Steakhouse! House made dressings to one of the best steaks ever! Gettysburg has a free museum that tells you history of the area if you're into that.7 months ago Bob's Resort
- Kcirce They only thing to do in Gettysburg is the museum, but, being Sunday was not open. The waitress at the restaurant told us about an overlook that was good so we went in search of Patch Skin Buttes. This is an opportunity to go over the bridge into the reservation about 20 miles or so. You'll take a right onto an 8-mile dirt road, but it's pretty good shape. Boy, is it worth the view - and the drive! A small stantion is on top with table. It was unfortunately not well cared for and the porta-potty was disgusting.9 months ago Bob's Resort

First time to OBX and this campground served us well to restock, do laundry and a shower without touching walls. 5 mph will make you cry. We camped at OBX Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Tip for Other Campers:
Ate at Mama Kwans, fish tacos and mahi nachos were excellent. Lost Colony, Bodie Light house, Wright Brothers.

“Sites were spread apart.”
Nightly Rate: $90 USD
We stayed in site 20. It was very spacious and the site was very level. The only negative was our dog picked up sand spurs on his feet and ears. We camped at OBX Campground in a Motorhome.

Tip for Other Campers:
The Outer Banks Brewing Station was not to far from the campground. It was dog friendly and had great food.
