“Freat stip near North Carolina State U.”
Nightly Rate: $40 USD
Clean great for a stay to visit Raleigh. We camped at North Carolina State Fairgrounds Campground in a Travel Trailer.

“RV park. No frills ”
Nightly Rate: $40 USD
Decent place. Good if you are involved with fairgrounds or Lenovo Center. We camped at North Carolina State Fairgrounds Campground in a Motorhome.

Tip for Other Campers:
Our site had a cement curbing at the back end that was too high for us to back up far enough to get into space completely.
Tips from campers about North Carolina State Fairgrounds Campground
- skater It's best to enter from Youth Center Drive. There are other options, but there's a gate between the horse pens and the campground that I saw closed a few times during the weekend we were there. Not much of a problem with a car or pickup, but it would be a headache with an RV.

- Lisa-Rae Our site had a cement curbing at the back end that was too high for us to back up far enough to get into space completely.

“A Bargain!!”

A real bargain that is convenient to all of Raleigh. We camped at North Carolina State Fairgrounds Campground in a Motorhome.
Tip for Other Campers:
Sites are fairly level but some will require leveling blocks.

Tip for Other Campers:
You will want a toad, electric bikes or a rental car if you want to venture out as there is nothing to do here. This campground is close to NC state and the North Carolina State fair.
