“THE Place or Dogs”
Nightly Rate: $50 USD
Dog centric, over 55, rv park with 7 different of parks. Some sites are fully fenced, some sites have fenced areas at the site. All sites are gravel. There's not really any grass to walk the dogs...

Tip for Other Campers:
If you like Mexican, Eat at MI Pueblito in Rutherfordton. Food was very good, prices were good and proportions were huge. The Flan was excellent....
“Fully covered sites”
Nightly Rate: $60 USD
Site 26 was perfect for us! Our own deck, fire pit, and fenced in area for our dog. The park itself is beautiful, with fully tree coverage on almost all sites. We ended up putting our Starlink away....

- SarahK1978 If you don't want to go all the way to Asheville, check out Chimney Rock! Cute little town and we took the dogs hiking up to the top of Chimney Rock - it's a lot of stairs (no dogs on the elevator) but they were able to take the shuttle bus to the base of the stairs.11 months ago 4 Paws Kingdom Campground & Dog Retreat
- Les35sa50 Shopping was fairly close and so were some restaurants, but we didn't eat at them. Some really nice wineries near by. It's about an hour from Asheville and Winston Salem. Asheville has a wonderful walking food tour & would recommend it. Explained all the fun things for dogs previously.
