We really liked this CG. We had site #110 in the Elbowoods loop, which was on the peninsula. All the sites in this loop were large and had water views. Like others stated, lots of boats for...

Tips from campers about Lake Sakakawea State Park
- rams-2015 Delaware Sea Shore State Park to the north has a pet friendly beach as well as Fenwick Island State Park to the south; both within 5 miles. For great take-out food, look up Summer Salts Beach Grill in Bethany.4 years ago Bethany Beach Training Site FamCamp
- DLong3077 Make sure to use the second entrance into the base. The main gate no longer is open.3 months ago Bethany Beach Training Site FamCamp
- Pamela_717 Enter at 2nd gate by shack. RV sites are 2 locations, back-ins and pull throughs. Pull thru sites by pond and must drive to end of road and circle behind to pull thru. Water is a little rusty looking so might not want to drink.5 months ago Bethany Beach Training Site FamCamp

Affordable hidden treasure located right on Lake Sakakawea. I had a great spot on the point with lake views on 3 sides. Modern hookups. Nice facilities. If youre a boater, there is a marina close by....

Question:
Hello I am new to this being retired 22 years Army and 18 years teaching just bought a Class C motorhome and pulling a Sea Doo Fish pro sport jet ski. I was wondering if there is a place I could put my jet ski in a slip or on shoreline while staying there. I am wanting to spend 2 weeks there. In the May/ June timeframe. Additionally, are there any pull thru spots or are they all back in. I am going to be spending the summer between ND and Upper Penninsula fishing different lakes for big pike....

I stayed in site #6 , lakeside position with a great view of the lake. Most of the sites were pretty wide open. And had a ton of space in between. In most parks there would have been 1-2 more slots...
